Nadal vs Ruud: prediction for the 2022 ATP Finals match

Rafael Nadal lost the first two group matches and now can't qualify for the playoffs. In his opener, the Spaniard yielded to Taylor Fritz (6-7, 1-6). After that, Nadal was defeated by Felix Auger-Aliassime (3-6, 4-6). Earlier this year, Nadal won four tournaments. He triumphed in Melbourne and Acapulco, and won his 21st and 22nd Grand Slams (Wimbledon and Roland Garros). 

Casper Ruud has qualified from his group and will play in the semifinals for the second consecutive year. In the first two matches, the Norwegian outplayed Felix Auger-Aliassime (7-6, 6-4) and Taylor Fritz (6-3, 4-6, 7-6). Ruud has won three trophies this season - he celebrated success at the tournaments in Geneva, Buenos Aires, and Gstaad. Moreover, he was the runner-up at Rolland Garros and the US Open.
