Aryna Sabalenka vs Caroline Garcia. Prediction and Betting Tips for WTA Finals

Prior to the start of WTA Finals, Aryna Sabalenka was not considered a favourite of the tournament by the bookmakers. Belarusian player was unsuccessful in latest tournaments. She managed to win just one match in San Diego and Guadalajara, but still managed to earn a spot in Fort Worth tournament, achieving an outstanding result in WTA Finals. 

Aryna has won 2 of 3 group stage matches. She managed to beat Ons Jabeur at the start of the tournament (3:6, 7:6, 7:5). In the decisive match Sabalenka secured a straight set victory over Jessica Pegula (6:3, 7:5). Belarusian player suffered the only defeat to Maria Sakkari (2:6, 4:6). 

In the semi-final Aryna had to face the World No. 1 player, Iga Swiatek. Sabalenka proved her ambitions in the first set, but played even better in the decisive set, leaving no chance to the opponent (6:2, 2:6, 6:1). Belarusian player put up an aggressive performance in that match. She made nine double faults, but had 12 aces. 

Prior to the start of WTA Finals Caroline Garcia changed her coach, so there were some concerns about her performance in the Fort Worth tournament. But French player proved the doubters wrong, reaching the final. 

Garcia started the group stage with a victory over Cori Gauff (6:4, 6:3). Caroline stood no chance in a match against Iga Swiatek (3:6, 2:6), but earned a narrow victory in the decisive match against Daria Kasatkina (4:6, 6:1, 7:6). 

In the semi-final Garcia had to play against Sakkari and was not considered a favourite. But she eventually secured a comfortable victory by a 6:3, 6:2 score. Caroline lost only one game at her serve, but an aggressive performance helped her to defeat the opponent.
