Jabeur vs Pegula: prediction for the WTA Finals match

After the final of US Open Ons Jabeur took a long pause. She only played at the home tournament in Monastir, losing to Claire Liu in the quarter-final (3:6, 6:4, 2:6). 

Lack of match practice surely affected Jabeur's performance at the start of WTA Finals. Tunisian player made way too many mistakes in the match against Aryna Sabalenka, lost five games at her serve and eventually took a 6:3, 6:7, 5:7 defeat. 

Jessica Pegula approached the start of WTA Finals in a superb form. She recently reached the semi-final of San Diego tournament and played in the final at Guadalajara. 

But despite that, Pegula suffered a defeat to Maria Sakkari in the first match. A tightly contested encounter ended with two tiebreaks won by the Greek player (6:7, 6:7).
