Aston Villa vs Chelsea: prediction for the English Premier League match

Last season, Aston Villa finished in 14th place in the Premier League. The club has been doing badly in the last few years, but nevertheless, they found the funds to buy several new players and strengthen the squad. The Villans hope to deliver a better performance in the new season.

Steven Gerrard's side won two out of nine Premier League games and got three draws. With nine points, Aston VIlla occupy the 16th line in the table. In the previous two matches, the team drew against Leed United (0:0) and Nottingham Forest (1:1). Gerard was openly frustrated with his charges after they dropped points against the Tricky Trees.

The hosts will be without Kamara, Augustinsson, Digne, and Diego Carlos. 

Last season, Chelsea surrendered the title of the European champions. Their new Champions League campaign has been going well - they have collected seven points from the first four games and are currently 1st in their group. Graham Potter 's men got a landslide victory over AC Milan (2:0) in the last game.

The Blues are currently 4th in the Premier League standings with 16 points from five wins and one draw. Chelsea's attacking performance has been a bit disappointing - the Blues scored only 13 goals in eight Premier League games. In the last round, Chelsea crushed Wolverhampton (3:0).
