AC Milan vs Juventus. Prediction and Betting Tips for 2022-23 Serie A (October 8, 2022).

AC Milan are one of the main contenders for the Scudetto, as usual, but they have endured a rough start to the season. In the first eight games, the team suffered only one defeat, but to their main opponent in the title race, Napoli (1:2). Currently, the Rossoneri are in 5th place in the standings with 17 points, three points behind Napoli and Atalanta. 

Last weekend, Stefano Pioli's men beat Empoli (3:1). They were leading (1:0), but then conceded a goal in injury time. The team didn't give up and answered with two more goals, one of which was delivered by Leao. In the middle of the week, AC Milan travelled to London, where they got crushed by Chelsea (0:3) in the Champions League game. 

It is somewhat of a tradition for Juventus to start the season slowly. At the moment, the Old Lady is in 7th place in the Serie A standings, and it seems unlikely that the team will be able to join the title race. Juve are seven points behind the current leaders Napoli and Atalanta; Lazio, who are 4th, are four points ahead. 

In the last outings, however, Massimiliano Allegri's men played well. Last weekend, Juventus crushed Bologna (3:0), and then on Wednesday, the team got an important home victory over Maccabi Haifa (3:1) in the Champions League.
