Swiatek vs Tomljanovic: prediction for the WTA Ostrava match

Iga Swiatek failed to impress in hard tournaments at Toronto and Cincinnati, winning only two matches. There were concerns about her form prior to the start of US Open, but Polish player put up a great performance in New York, losing only two sets in seven matches. Swiatek took the second Grand Slam title in the current season. 

After the US Open World No. 1 player didn't play a single match. One year ago, she played at Ostrava and reached the semi-final, where she suffered a defeat to Maria Sakkari (4:6, 5:7). 

Ajla Tomljanovic put up a successful performance at US Open, reaching the quarter-final. In two next tournaments at Portoroz and Tallinn Australian player suffered defeats in first rounds. 

However, she managed to put an end to her string of defeats at Ostrava. Tomljanovic secured three consecutive victories and didn't lose a single set. In the first round of a main draw Ajla recorded a 6:3, 6:3 victory over Zhang Shuai.
