Real Madrid vs Osasuna: prediction for the La Liga fixture

In the previous season Real Madrid put up a dominating performance, winning not only the Spanish Super Cup, but also the Champions League. Team also got off to a great start in a new edition of that tournament - two victories brought a spot at the top of the standings. 

Carlo Ancelotti's men are in a superb form at the start of La Liga season - six victories in six matches brought 18 points and a top spot in the standings. 

After a victory over Mallorca (4:1) hosts also secured a victory over Atletico Madrid (2:1). It is a crucial win on the way to the title. Karim Benzema returned to training, while Modric got injured on international duty, but he is expected to come back in time for El Classico, which will take place on October 16. Lucas will also miss this game through a groin injury. 

In the previous season Osasuna managed to finally gain momentum and to leave the bottom of the standings. Team finished the season at a respectable mid-table position. 

Yagoba Arrasate's men got off to a strong start of a new season. The Reds secured four victories in six rounds, delivering 12 points and a 5th spot in the standings. 

Team put up a weak offensive performance, scoring only seven goals. After a victory over Almeria (1:0) visitors suffered a defeat to Getafe (0:2). Oroz, Kike Saverio and Avila will miss the upcoming game.
