Fulham vs Newcastle: prediction for the English Premier League match

Fulham had a very successful season in the Championship. The Cottagers finished top of the table with 90 points and 106 goals and for the third time in the last five years returned to the British elite. 

Marco Silva's men kicked off their Premier League campaign with an impressive 2:2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield. Since then, they recorded three victories and another draw. Currently, Fulham are in 6th place in the table with 11 points to their name. In the last outing, the Cottagers defeated Nottingham Forest (3:2).

Newcastle delivered a powerful performance in the second half of the last Premier League season and finished in 11th place with 49 points. In the summer, the Magpies strengthened the squad with such players as Sven Botman from Lille (37 million), Matt Targett from Aston Villa (17.5 million), and Nick Pope from Burnley (11.5 million).

Eddie Howe's side started the new season with a win over Tranmere (2:1) in the League Cup. In the first seven rounds of the Premier League, Newcastle recorded one victory and five draws. In the last outing, they drew against Bournemouth (0:0). Currently, the team is in 10th place in the table.
