Ostapenko vs Raducanu: prediction for the WTA Seoul match

After the final of grass tournament in Eastbourne, Jelena Ostapenko had a long slump and was unable to achieve positive results. Latvian player finally managed to put up a good run of performances at Seoul, reaching the semifinals. 

Ostapenko was close to elimination in the first round, she beat the local player, Jeong Bo-young, by the narrowest possible margin (6:4, 3:6, 7:6). In the second round Jelena had another closely contested match. This time she managed to beat Anastasia Gasanova (6:3, 5:7, 7:5). Only in the quarter-final World No. 19 player managed to secure a confident victory, beating Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva (6:2, 6:1). 

Raducanu reached the semi-final of WTA tournament for the first time in a season. Before the start of Seoul competition, she got eliminated in the quarterfinals at Stuttgart and at Washington. 

Emma didn't lose a single set in first three rounds of Seoul tournament. Her opponents were not so strong though - Uchijima, Wickmayer and Linette.
