Osasuna vs Rayo Vallecano: prediction for the La Liga fixture

In the previous season Osasuna got off to a slow start, but eventually found momentum and earned a mid-table spot. In 38 rounds of La Liga the Reds have recorded 12 victories and 11 draws, delivering 47 points and a 10th spot in the standings. Team put up a weak offensive performance, scoring only 37 goals. 

At the beginning of a new season Jagoba Arrasate's men recorded a victory over Sevilla (2:1), after that they beat Cadiz (2:1). These results brought six points and an 8th spot in the standings. Barbero and Kike Saverio won't play in the upcoming game.  

In the previous season Rayo Vallecano made their return to La Liga and took the league by storm in first rounds. Team also put up a successful performance in Copa del Rey, the Vallecans reached the quarter-final. Team was not so great in La Liga though, but the Red Sashes managed to retain the La Liga spot. 

Andoni Iraola's men got off to a turbulent start of the season - a victory over Espanyol (2:0), draw against Barcelona (0:0) and a defeat to Mallorca (0:2) in the last game. These results brought a team to the 12th spot in the standings. Lopez, Martin will miss the upcoming game.
