Muguruza vs Tauson: prediction for the US Open match

Garbine Muguruza is currently on a long-term crisis. On February, Spanish player reached the quarter-final of Doha tournament, but she failed to win more than one match in any of following tournaments. 

Garbine is approaching the start of US Open in poor form. She managed to beat Kanepi at the start of Toronto tournament, but after that Muguruza got eliminated by Rybakina (3:6, 1:6). Spanish player needs to reach the round of 16 at New York in order to defend her ranking points, otherwise she will leave the Top-10. 

Clara Tauson is also having a poor season. Since the start of the year Danish player managed to win only 10 matches, losing 12. 

Before the start of US Open, Clara participated in four hard tournaments. Tauson achieved the best result at Concord, where she reached the quarter-final. But level of opposition was not too high in there - she secured victories over Boulter and Sharma. In the previous New York tournament Tauson got eliminated in the second round by Ashleigh Barty (1:6, 5:7).
