Emma Raducanu vs Alize Cornet. Prediction and Betting Tips for US Open

Emma Raducanu needed a long time to gain form after the start of the season. However, she started to show progress after the appointment of Dmytry Tursunov as a new coach. British player reached the quarter-final at Washington. She also recorded easy victories over Serena Williams (6:4, 6:0) and Victoria Azarenka (6:0, 6:2) at Cincinnati. But at the start of Toronto tournament Emma suffered a defeat to Camila Giorgi (6:7, 2:6).

So far it is too early to say that Raducanu is at the peak of her form. It will be very difficult for her to defend her title. In the previous edition of the tournament Emma started from qualification and beat all of her opponents in straight sets on the way to the trophy. 

Cornet is having an okay season - since the start of the year she recorded 20 victories and suffered the same number of defeats. An experienced Frenchwoman achieved some success on Grand Slam tournaments. She reached the quarter-final at Australian Open, third round at Roland Garros and round of 16 at Wimbledon. Alize recorded sensational victories in each of Grand Slam competitions. She defeated Halep in Melbourne, Ostapenko and Paris and she also stopped Swiatek in London (6:4, 6:2). 

Before the start of US Open tournament Cornet put up a great performance in Cleveland, reaching the semi-final of that competition. Alize is surely in a perfect form ahead of the US Open first round.
