Garcia vs Sakkari: prediction for the WTA Cincinnati match

Caroline Garcia managed to improve her performance during the season. French player has won titles at the grass tournament in Bad Homburg and at the clay tournament in Warsaw. After these successful tournaments she rose to the 35th spot in the WTA rankings. 

Her return to hard surface turned out to be unsuccessful. Last week, Garcia suffered a first round defeat to Cornet (6:3, 3:6, 3:6) at Toronto. Caroline won three matches at Cincinnati, counting the qualifying rounds. After three-set victories over Parry and Petkovic in qualifiers Garcia also managed to beat Petra Martic in the first round of the main draw (6:3, 6:3). 

Maria Sakkari is currently at the 3rd spot in the world rankings, but her recent results are not so optimistic. In four latest tournaments she failed to win more than two matches in the main draw. 

Maria started the Toronto tournament with a victory over Stephens (6:2, 4:6, 6:2) only to be eliminated by Pliskova (1:6, 7:6, 3:6). In the previous season Sakkari was eliminated by Kerber (2:6, 2:6) in the first round of Cincinnati tournament.
