Chelsea vs Tottenham: prediction for the English Premier League match

Chelsea failed to defend the title of the European champions and lost to Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of the 2021-2022 Champions League. The Londoners reached the finals of both the League Cup and the FA Cup, and it was heartbreaking to lose both finals on penalties to Liverpool. 

In the Premier League, the Bluescollected 74 points from 21 wins and 11 draws and finished in 3rd place.  Thomas Tuchel's team was solid on defense and conceded less than one goal per game on average.

In the summer, Chelsea signed Marc Cucurella (65 million), Raheem Sterling (56 million), and Kalidou Koulibaly (38 million). The team kicked off their Premier League campaign with a slender victory over Everton (1:0). 

Alonsoand Kovacic won't be abl to help their team tonight.

Tottenham looked great last season. The Spurs chalked up a total of 71 points, scored 69 goals, and finished in 4th place, thus securing a Champions League ticket. 

Antonio Conte's charges got a confident victory over Southampton (4:1) in the first game of the new Premier League season. In the offseason, the team was strengthened by Bissouma (29.2 million), Djed Spence (14.7 million), and Richarlison (58 million).

Skipp and Lenglet have been ruled out of this game.
