Leicester City vs Brentford: prediction for the English Premier League match

Last season, Leicester City won the Community Shield trophy and reached the semifinals of the Conference League, but had a disappointing Premier League campaign. They chalked up 52 points from 38 games and finished in 8th place in the table. 

In their last two pre-season friendly games, the Foxesdefeated Preston (2:1) and Sevilla (1:0). There haven't been many changes in the squad, but Kasper Schmeichel has moved to Nice.

Today the hosts will be without Bertrand, Barnes, and Pereira. 

Brentford made a good impression in their first Premier League season. The Londoners had a powerful start to their campaign, but in the end, finished in 13th place with a total of 48 points from 13 wins and seven draws. The Bees didn't have the depth to compete for a higher spot in the table. 

But in the summer, the Londoners strengthened the squad. Keane Lewis-Potter has moved to Brentford from Hull City (19 million), and Aaron Hickey (16.5 million) has joined the Bees, too.

Ajer, Canos, and Pinnock have been sidelined with injuries.
