Leeds vs Wolverhampton: prediction for the English Premier League match

Leeds United endured a tough campaign last season, almost getting relegated and losing Marcelo Bielsa as head coach. The Whiteschalked up 38 points from 38 games and finished in 17th position. Leeds scored only 42 goals, showing poor attacking performance.

In the last two pre-season games, Jesse Marsch's team drew against Crystal Palace (1:1) and crushed Cagliari (6:2). However, it might be another difficult year for the team from Leeds, as some key players left the team in the summer, for instance, Raphinha was poached by Barcelona. On the other hand, the Whites bought Aaronson, Rasmus, and Adams. 

The hosts will be without Ayling, Cooper, Dallas, Firpo, Forshaw, and Drameh. 

Wolverhampton didn't impress in the last edition of Premier League, either. They won 15 games out of 38 and collected a total of 51 points, which put them in 10th place in the table. On avarage, the Wolves scored only one goal per game.

Bruno Lage's side played out two draws in the last two pre-season friendlies - against Sporting and Farense (both 1:1). Today the Wanderers will have to cope without Jimenez, Chiquinho, Traore, Semedo, Sarkic.
