Daria Kasatkina vs Ekaterina Alexandrova. Prediction and Betting Tips for WTA Berlin

Daria Kasatkina performed well during the clay part of the season. She reached semifinals at Rome and at Roland Garros. World No. 12 player was not rushing her transition to the grass. At the start of the Berlin tournament she played her first match of the season on that surface. 

Daria faced Anhelina Kalinina in that match. Russian player needed some time to adapt for the surface, but she eventually found her game. Kasatkina secured a victory in three sets (5:7, 6:3, 6:1). Kasatkina was fantastic on the receive, winning 50% of points. Though, it is worth noting that her opponent struggled with a leg injury. 

Ekaterina Alexandrova put up a great performance on clay, just like her today's opponent. Ekaterina reached semifinals at Charleston and Madrid. However, Russia player got eliminated from Roland Garros at the second round, losing to Irina-Camelia Begu. 

Last week, Alexandrova put up a great start to the grass part of the season, winning the title at Hertogenbosch. There were concerns about her performance at Berlin. However, in the first round she beat Maryna Zanevska (6:3, 6:4). Russian player put up a fantastic performance at her serve, she didn't let her opponent to have a single break-point.
