France vs Croatia: prediction for the Nations League match

France national team was the current European champion and one of the main favourites for the Euro 2020. However, something went wrong - team barely made it past the group stage and suffered a defeat to Switzerland in the first play-off round. 

The Tricolors went past the World Cup qualification without a single defeat. At this stage the Blues have secured five victories and three draws, delivering 18 points and a World Cup spot. The Blues are also starting the Nations League as the current holder of the trophy. Didier Deschamps' men have won the Final Four last autumn. 

French team got off to a rough start in the new edition of the tournament - after a home defeat to Denmark (1:2) hosts drew to Croatia and Austria with the same score of 1:1. 

Croatia national team put up a great performance at Euro 2020, they managed to get past the group stage, but the Chequered Ones were unable to advance past the round of 16. Team suffered a defeat to Spain in extra-time. In ten rounds of the World Cup qualification Zlatko Dalic's men have recorded seven victories and two draws, delivering a top spot in the group with 23 points. Team put up a fantastic defensive performance, conceding only four goals. 

At the start of the Nations League the Chequered Ones suffered an unexpected defeat to Austria (0:3), then team drew to Spain and beat Denmark (1:0).
