Last summer, the Wales national team showed decent results at Euro 2020. They finished in second place in their group, on top of Switzerland and Turkey. In the first knockout round, however, Wales suffered a crushing defeat to Denmark (0:4).

Ukraine

Ukraine made it to the quarterfinals of the European showpiece last year. In the Round of 16, the Blue-and-Yellows defeated Sweden in extra time, but then got crushed by England (0:4) at Wembley in the last eight.

After Euro 2020, Oleksandr Petrakov replaced Andriy Shevchenko as head coach of the national team. Under his guidance, Ukraine finished second in their World Cup qualifying group with 12 points from two victories and six draws.

Earlier this week, Ukraine confidently beat Scotland (3:1) in the playoffs semifinal.
