Alaves vs Espanyol: prediction for the La Liga fixture

Alaves were extremely lucky in three previous seasons and kept the La Liga spot against all odds, but it seems like their luck is running out. Team failed to achieve success in the Spanish Cup. Following a victory over Unami (3:0), team fell to Linares in the second round (1:2). 

After 35 rounds of the current season the Glorious Ones have seven victories and seven draws, delivering 28 points and a 20th spot in the standings. After a victory over Villarreal (2:1) Basques suffered a heavy defeat to Celta (0:4). 

Guidetti and Navarro will miss the upcoming match. 

Espanyol got off to an unsuccessful start in the current season, which led the Catalan side to poor results. After 35 rounds of La Liga the Budgerigars have 10 victories and 10 draws, delivering 40 points and a 13th spot in the standings. 

Team's offensive line is not looking great, just like the defense. After an away defeat to Real Madrid (0:4) Vicente Moreno's men drew to Osasuna (1:1).
