Leeds United vs Manchester City: prediction for the English Premier League match

Leeds United did well in the League Cup - they reached the last 16, but failed to overcome Arsenal. In the FA Cup, they couldn't make it past the first match against West Ham (0:2).

The team's Premier League campaign has been utterly disappointing. After 33 games, the Peacocks are in 16th place in the standings. Since Jesse Marchbecame the team manager, Leeds lost only twice. In the last five games, Leeds got three wins and two draws, against Saouthampton (1:1) and Crystal Palace (0:0). 

Bamford, Roberts, and Forshaw have been ruled out of this match. 

Manchester City are enjoying life on top of the Premier League table. They have earned 80 points from 33 games. The City team is just one point ahead of Liverpool and have no room for error in the remaining matches. In the last two games, the Sky-Blues defeated Brighton (3:0) and Watford (5:1). 

Pep Guardiola's men have done well in the Champions League. After winning their group, Man City crushed Sporting CP (5:0 on aggregate) and prevailed over Atletico Madrid (1:0 on aggregate). Earlier this week, Guardiola's side beat Real Madrid (4:3) in the high-scoring thriller at the Etihad Stadium. 

Walker and Stones are out injured and Mendy is suspended without a return date.
