Liverpool vs Everton: prediction for the English Premier League game

Liverpool finished top of their Champions League group and became the first English team to win all six group games. In the knockouts, the Reds defeated Inter Milan (2:1 on aggregate) and Benfica (6:4 on aggregate). 

In January, Jurgen Klopp's men won their first trophy this season. They beat Chelsea on penalties in the League Cup final. In May, the teams will meet again in the FA Cup final. 

The Reds are in 2nd place in the Premier League standings with 76 points from 32 games. They have the best attacking record in the league - 83 goals since the start of the season. On Tuesday, Liverpool crushed Man United (4:0).

Firmino is out with an ankle injury. 

Everton have been utterly disappointing this season. The nine-time champions of England did well in the FA Cup - they overcame Hull City, Brentford, and Boreham Wood, but got devastated by Crystal Palace (0:4) in the quarterfinal match.

The Toffees are very close to losing the residence in the Premier League for the first time in their history. After 31 rounds of the competition, the team is in 17th place in the table with 29 points. In the last two games, Frank Lampard's side beat Manchester United (1:0) and drew against Leicester (1:1). 

The visitors will be without Cavert-Lewin, van de Beek, Townsend, Patterson, and Davies.
