Arsenal vs Manchester United: prediction for the English Premier League match

Arsenal are having a controversial season. On the one hand, they have shown solid performance in the League Cup and the Premier League, but on the other hand, they should have achieved better results considering they have no European football and can fully focus on their domestic league and cups. For instance, the Gunners lost to Championship residents Nottingham Forest in their first FA Cup match. 

After 32 rounds of the Premier League, Mikel Arteta's side is in 5th place in the standings with 57 points from 18 wins and three draws. Arsenal and Tottenham are level on points, but currently the Gunners are behind on goal difference. After three consecutive defeats, Arteta's team got a confident victory over Chelsea (4:2) on Wednesday.

Manchester United are having a rollercoaster of a season. The team finished top of their Champions League group but lost to Atletico Madrid in the first knockout round. 

The Red Devils were eliminated from both the League Cup and the FA Cup in early rounds. In the Premier League, MU are currently in 6th place with 54 points from 33 games. They recorded 15 victories and nine of their matches ended in draws. Ralf Rangnick's men suffered two defeats in the last three games and got a victory over Norwich City (3:2).
