Manchester City vs Liverpool: prediction for the FA Cup match

Manchester City lost the Community Shield match to Leicester and we knocked out of the League Cup in one of the early rounds, but the team has looked great both in the Champions League and the Premier League. 

The City team finished on top of their Champions League group and got an easy win over Sporting CP in the round of 16 (5:0 on aggregate). In the quarterfinal match, Pep Guardiola's men defeated Atletico Madrid at home and played out a draw in Spain, thus booking their ticket to the next stage of the tournament. 

After 31 games, the Sky-Blues remain the leaders of the Premier League. The team has earned 74 points, just one point more than Liverpool. Last weekend, the two giants squared off in the Premier League. The game ended in a draw (2:2). 

Man City will be without Walker, Palmer, and De Bruyne.

Liverpool have also finished top of their Champions League group. They became the first English team to win all six group games. In the last 16, the team defeated Inter Milan (2:1 on aggregate). After that, the Reds beat Benfica in the first leg of their quarterfinal match (3:1) and played out a high-scoring draw (3:3) in the second leg. Liverpool won 6:4 on aggregate and advanced to the semifinals.

In winter, the team lifted the League Cup - the Reds faced Chelsea in the final, and it took 22 penalties to decide the winner. In the Premier League, Liverpool are in 2nd place with 73 points from 22 wins and seven draws. They have the best attack in the league - 79 goals in 31 games.
