Espanyol vs Celta: prediction for the La Liga fixture

Espanyol had a great performance in the Spanish Cup, team easily beat Ponferradina and Palencia, but in the round of 16 they were beaten by Mallorca. Vicente Moreno's men have nine victories and nine draws in La Liga, delivering 36 points and a 12th spot in the standings. 

The Budgerigars have a decent offensive record, they have scored 35 goals, but conceded way more. After a victory over Mallorca (1:0) the White-Blues were beaten by Real Sociedad (0:1). 

Lopez, Melamed and de Tomas are unavailable this weekend. 

Celta had another slow start of the season and managed to gain form only on autumn. Team also won the first two rounds in Spanish Cup, The Sky Blues managed to beat Ebro and Andorra, but Celts failed to advance any further. In the third round the White-Blues suffered a defeat to Barcelona (1:2).
