Watford vs Leeds United: prediction for the English Premier League match

Watford are struggling to stay competitive in the English elite. Experienced Roy Hodgson became head coach for the Hornets in January, but he couldn't stop the team from sinking deeper and deeper into the relegation zone. 

After 30 rounds of the tournament, Watford are in 19th position in the standings with 22 points. They recorded a victory over Southampton (2:1) before suffering another defeat, this time to Liverpool (0:2).

Leeds United are having a poor season - a far departure from their heroic performance last year. The team had a decent run in the League Cup and reached the last 16, where they lost to Arsenal. In the FA Cup, Leeds made a first-round exit consequent to their defeat to West Ham (0:2). 

The Peacocks are currently in 16th position in the Premier League standings. Jesse Marsch's men have played 31 games, seven of which they won, and nine matches were tied (30 points). After a thrilling victory over Wolverhampton (3:2), Leeds played out a draw against Southampton (1:1).

Bamford, Roberts, Shackleton, Firpo, and Fuhr Hjelde have all been ruled out through injury.
