Granada vs Rayo Vallecano: prediction for the La Liga fixture

Granada's results are not looking so great in the current season. The Nasrids got off to a successful start in the Spanish Cup, beating Laguna (7:0), but in the second round they were beaten by a fourth-tier side, Mancha (0:1). 

In 29 rounds of the current La Liga season Roberto Moreno's men have six victories and ten draws, delivering 28 points and a 16th spot. They are just two points clear of the relegation zone. After a string of defeats, culminating in a loss to Elche (0:1), the Red-Whites beat Alaves (3:2). Team's offensive line is looking weak, only 31 goals were scored in the current season. 

Montero, Escudero, Lozano, Gonalons and Arias won't feature in the upcoming match. 

Rayo Vallecano got off to a successful start in the Spanish Cup, capital club managed to beat Mirandes and Girona and earned a spot in the semi-final. They turned out a bit unlucky at this stage and were beaten by Betis (2:3). 

After 28 rounds of La Liga Vallecans have nine victories and five draws, delivering 32 points and a 13th spot in the standings. In five latest matches the Red Sashes earned only one point, getting a draw against Sevilla (1:1). 

Merquelanz, Lopez and Falcao won't feature in the upcoming match.
