Union Berlin vs Koln: prediction for the Bundesliga match

In the previous season Union earned a spot in the Conference League, but no one expected Urs Fischer's team to compete for a Top-6 spot once again. In the first half of the season the Iron Ones were incredible and even were in the Champions League zone for some time, but situation has changed. 

Union approach the 28th round of Bundesliga at the 9th spot with 38 points in the asset, only six points away from the 6th-placed Hoffenheim and it is possible to overcome this handicap. In the previous round Union were beaten by Bayern (0:4), extending the winless streak to three Bundesliga matches. 

In the previous season Koln barely avoided relegation from Bundesliga, but Steffen Baumgart's team is looking much better in the current campaign. The Billy Goats were not considered a European places contender, so they are desperately trying to not fall back in the race. 

Koln are currently at the 7th spot in the standings with 40 points in the asset. They are just four points adrift from the 6th spot, so there is still chance for a success. In the previous round Koln drew to Borussia Dortmund (1:1).
