Badosa vs Putintseva: prediction for the WTA Miami match

Paula Badosa approached the start of Miami tournament after a successful competition at Indian Wells. World No. 6 player achieved the semi-final of that tournament and had been stopped by Maria Sakkari (2:6, 6:4, 1:6). 

At the first round of Miami tournament Paula recorded a narrow victory over Marie Bouzkova (7:5, 7:5). Spaniard lost only two games at her serve. She put up a great performance, winning 74% of points at the first serve. 

Yulia Putintseva is performing unsuccessfully since the start of the season. She recorded her first victory in the main draw of WTA tournaments in Indian Wells, Kazakhstan representative managed to beat an obscure player, Krueger (6:3, 6:2). 

Yulia has recorded two victories in Miami. But her performance was not so convincing. Her victories over Schunk and Tsurenko were recorded in three sets. In the match against Tsurenko (6:3, 4:6, 7:5) Putintseva let her opponent to do seven breaks, winning only 53% points at her serve. With that performance it won't be easy to fight against Badosa. One year ago, Putintseva was beaten by Badosa (4:6, 1:6) at Wimbledon.
