Alaves vs Granada: prediction for the La Liga fixture

Alaves are on the edge of relegation once again, in the previous season they barely kept their La Liga spot. The Glorious Ones started the new campaign with a number of straight defeats, which led the team to the bottom of the standings, even a string of impressive matches in mid-autumn didn't help the team to stop the downfall. 

After 28 rounds of the current season The White-Blues have five victories and seven draws, delivering 22 points and a devastating 19th spot in the standings. After a draw to Sevilla (0:0) Basques were beaten by Real Sociedad (0:1). Team's offensive line is looking dreadful with just 21 goals in La Liga, it is the worst result in the league. 

Granada are also not so successful in the current season. Team had an unsuccessful run in Spanish Cup, after a victory over Laguna (7:0) the Nasrids were beaten by Mancha (0:1) in the next round.

After 28 rounds of La Liga the Red-Whites have five victories and 10 draws, delivering 25 points and a 17th spot in the standings. Team is only one point clear of relegation zone. Out of five latest rounds visitors earned only one point, drewing with Cadiz (0:0). 

Montoro, Escudero, Lozano. Gonalons and Arias will miss the upcoming match.
