Marseille vs Monaco: prediction for the Ligue 1 match

Marseille got off to a perfect start in the Conference League playoffs, beating Qarabag in the first round. Les Provencales won both legs and secured a 6:1 victory on aggregate. Team was not so successful in the French Cup - the White-Blues were eliminated by Nice (1:4) in the quarter-final. 

After 26 rounds of Ligue 1 Jorge Sampaoli's men have 13 victories and eight draws to their name, delivering 47 points and a 2nd spot in the standings. In the latest round hosts drew to Troyes (1:1). 

Monaco secured a top spot in the Europa League group stage, so they will start the knock-out phase of the tournament from the round of 16. Monegasques beat Amiens (2:0) in the French Cup, but in the semi-final of that tournament they were beaten by Nantes on penalties (2:3, penalties).
