However, in the following match the Canucks suffered a defeat to the Islanders (3:6). In that game, Halak tended to the goal in the first period, but he was substituted off in the first period after conceding five goals.

Before Toronto traveled to Calgary, they were on a six-game winning streak. The Maple Leafs showed a terrible performance against the Flames: they converted only 2 out of 48 scoring chances, while goalie Campbell was able to save only 80% of the opponents' shots (2:5). 

Before that, the Maple Leafs were delivering solid results on their travels. For example, they crushed New Jersey (7:1) and Detroit (7:4). At the moment, the Leafs are in 6th place in the Eastern Conference standings, but they are only six points behind the current leader.
