Fucsovics vs Rublev: prediction for the ATP Rotterdam match

Marton Fucsovics had little success on the Australian courts. He left all the tournaments at early stages, for instance, at the Australian Open, he lost to Dusan Lajovic in the opening round (3-6, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6, 1-6).

In Rotterdam, however, the Hungarian has only dropped one set so far - he needed three sets to beat Filip Krajinovic in the first round (3-6, 6-3, 6-2). In the following match, Fucsovics defeated home favourite Tallon Griekspoor in straight sets (6-4, 7-6). 

Last year, Fucsovics lost to Rublev in the final of the tournament, and this is his chance to get revenge. 

Anrey Rublev tested positive for COVID-19 at the end of 2021 and made his first 2022 appearance at the Australian Open. The Russian tennis player made a third-round exit after suffering a defeat to Marin Cilic (5-7, 6-7, 6-3, 3-6).

In Rotterdam, Rublev is hoping to defend his last year's title. So far, he recorded two confident victories - over Henri Laaksonen (6-4, 6-4) and Soon-Woo Kwon (6-3, 6-3).
