Latvia - Finland
Latvia take on Finland in the men's tournament in ice hockey at the 2022 Winter Olympics. We assessed the teams' chances and made a prediction for this match.

Command Analysis

Latvia

Latvia put up a good fight against Sweden in their opening game at the Winter Olympics in Beijing. They capitalized on power play twice, but couldn't create enough scoring chances and thus failed to level the score.

Latvia can't boast a very powerful team and have almost no chance for the playoffs since it will be extremely hard to win the remaining two group games.

Finland

Finlandare one of the favorites to win a set of medals. At the Channel One Cup in December, the Finns defeated every opponent, and in the first game of the Olympic tournament, Finland crushed Slovakia (6:2). Forward Manninen had an excellent game and scored two goals.

Following the results of the first round, Finland top their group table and will be hoping to secure qualifying for the playoffs from the first line.

Tip and bets

TipHandicap (-1) to Finland
1.65

Finland are the clear favoites in this fixture. They are a better team and should get a landslide victory over Latvia.

Our prediction - handicap (-1) to Finland

Will the prediction win?
TipTotal over 5 goals
1.69

As evidenced by the game against SLovakia, Finland don't stop after securing minimum advantage. We doubt that Latvia will be able to withhold the onslaught of Suomi's attack.

Second bet - total over 5 goals

Will the prediction win?
