Andrea Petkovic vs Rebecca Peterson. Predictions and Betting Tips for WTA Saint Petersburg

Andrea Petkovic got off to a perfect start in the new season. At the first Melbourne tournament German player managed to reach the quarter-final, beating Samsonova and Burel along the way. But she got a difficult draw for Australian Open. In the first round Petkovic had to play against Barbora Krejcikova. German player failed to put up a fight (2:6, 0:6). 

Petkovic is coming back to Saint Petersburg after a two year absence. For the most recent time she performed at that competition in 2019. She failed to advance through qualification back then. 

At the start of the season Rebecca Peterson performed in three Australian tournaments. In each of these tournaments she was eliminated in the second round. After a victory over Saville (6:2, 6:3) at Australian Open Sweden representative suffered a defeat to Iga Swiatek (2:6, 2:6). 

Peterson started her performance at Saint Petersburg tournament from qualification. In two first matches she easily beat Savinykh (6:3, 6:1) and Gorgodze (6:3, 7:5). In the final qualifying match she needed three sets to beat Bernarda Pera (5:7, 6:0, 6:1).
