Bayern vs Leipzig: prediction for the Bundesliga match

Bayern got off to a confident start of the season - Julian Nagelsmann's team regularly picked up points and rose to the top very quickly. On August, Bavarians claimed the first trophy of the season, they defeated Borussia Dortmund (2:1) in the Spanish Super Cup. Bayern were outstanding not only in Bundesliga, but also in the Champions League. Team was eliminated from the German Cup at the round of 16 by Borussia Monchengladbach (0:5). 

But so far they are unable to gain serious advantage over their main competitor, Borussia Dortmund, they are currently only six points away. 

During the summer, Leipzig lost a number of key players and also a head coach, who was a key figure for the Bulls in recent years. Jessie Marsch became a new manager, but he was unsuccessful at that job - team lost a number of points in the league and barely claimed a 3rd spot in the group stage of the Champions League. Eventually, Jesse Marsch was sacked. 

In the middle of the season Domenico Tedesco took over the team as a new head coach and he started with a confident victory over Borussia Monchengladbach (3:1). Overall, Leipzig's performance improved under the new head coach and team is currently at the 6th spot in the standings - club is only three points away from the Champions League zone.
