Burkina Faso are the biggest surprise of the competition. The team kicked off their AFCON campaign with a defeat to the tournament hosts Cameroon (1:2), but in all of the following games they were exceptional, and in the quarter-finals, the Stallions overcame Tunisia (1:0). Burkina Faso were the runner-ups at the 2013 Cup of Nations, and they will be looking to repeat that result.

Senegal

Senegal are one of the favourites to win the tournament. Aliou Sisse's side are unbeaten in their last 11 games, eight of which they won. They looked a bit underwhelming at the group stage of the tournament, but in the quarter-finals the Lions of Teranga recorded a confident victory over Ecuatorial Guinea (3:1).
