Tsitsipas vs Medvedev: prediction for the Australian Open match

Stefanos Tsitsipas underwent surgery on his elbow at the end of 2021 and had a slow start to the new tour. But the Greek tennis player approached the Australian Open in good shape and has reached his third semi-final at this major. Tsitspas also played in the Australian Open semi-finals in 2019 and 2021. Tsitsipas had one difficult match at the current tournament - in the round of 16, he needed five sets to defeat Taylor Fritz (4-6, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4). His other opponents here were Mikael Ymer, Sebastian Baez, Benoit Paire, and Jannik Sinner. 

Daniil Medvedev has enjoyed a relatively easy campaign so far. The Russian player cruised to victory over Henri Laaksonen, Nick Kyrgios, Botic Van De Zandschulp, and Maxime Cressy. His only tough match was against Felix Auger Aliassime, who won the first two sets of the quarter-final battle. Medvedev made a comeback and won the following two sets on tie-breaks (6-7, 3-6, 7-6, 7-5, 6-4).
