Martincova vs Giorgi: prediction for the WTA Australian Open match

In three most recent tournaments at Melbourne Tereza Martincova failed to advance through qualification. In the current season Czech player earned a spot in the main draw right away and she didn't dissapoint. 

In the first round Martincova recorded a narrow victory over Lauren Davis (7:5, 6:2). Martincova managed to improve her performance in the second set, especially at the serve, which helped her to record a victory. 

In recent years Camila Giorgi is not so successful at Australian Open. Nonetheless, Italian player reached the third round two times, but in the previous season she was beaten by Iga Swiatek (4:6, 2:6) in the second round. 

Before the start of Melbourne tournament there were some concerns about Giorgi's form, because she didn't play a single official match in Australia before that due to coronavirus. But she managed to record a confident victory over Potapova (6:4, 6:0). Giorgi didn't play a single game at her serve in this match.
