Karatsev vs Murray: prediction for the ATP Sydney match

Aslan Karatsev is having an excellent tournament. This is the fourth ATP final in his career. The Russian has won competitions in Dubai and Moscow, and was the runner-up of the tournament in Belgrade, where he lost to Matteo Berrettini (1-6, 6-3, 6-7).

At the current tournament in Sydney, Karatsev outplayed Miomir Kecmanovic (7-5, 6-4), ousted Lorenzo Sonego (6-2, 3-6, 6-2) and defeated the uncompromising Briton Daniel Evans (6-3, 6-7, 6-3).

Andy Murray will play in the final of an ATP tournament for the first time since 2018. In the last couple of years, Murray was recovering from hip surgery, and hasn't been delivering the top level of performance. 

In Sydney, the British tennis player ousted such opponents as Viktor Durasovic (6-3, 6-1), Nikoloz Basilashvili (6-7, 7-6, 6-3) and Reilly Opelka (6-7, 6-4, 6-4). He also walked over David Goffin in the quarterfinal match.
