Siniakova vs Gauff: prediction for the WTA Adelaide 2 match

In the previous season Katerina Siniakova got off to a rough start. In first six tournaments she recorded only two victories. Seems like situation will be the same in 2022. 

Last week, Czech player failed to beat an obscure Hungarian player Bondar (5:7, 6:7) at Melbourne. Both players underperformed in this match and made a lot of mistakes. But Hungarian athlete played better in crucial moments of the match. 

17-year old Cori Gauff is looking to continue her improvement and to break into the Top-20. American player put up a great performance in the first competition of the season. 

She reached the second round at Adelaide, which is not a huge achievement. But Gauff easily beat Eikeri (6:1, 6:2) in that tournament and was close to a victory in the match against the World No. 1 player, Ashleigh Barty (6:4, 5:7, 1:6). Young player made a break in the second set, but was unable to hold on to her lead. In the third set Barty completely crushed the American player.
