Fognini vs Nakashima: prediction for the ATP Sydney match

Fabio Fognini had an easy start at the current tournament in Sydney. He inicially had to play against Nick Kyrgios in the first round match, but the Australian withdrew from the tournament due to a positive covid test. Instead of Kyrgios, the Italian tennis player went against Daniel Altmaier - and celebrated success in two straight sets (6-3, 7-5).

Brandon Nakashima, on the contrary, had a tough match against Jiri Vesely in the first round of the Sydney International. Vesely is on top form, and Nakashima struggled to breaks the Czech's serve. The outcome of the meeting was decided in two tie-breaks (7-6, 7-6). That was the first match of the new year for Nakashima, who finished the previous season by winning two trophies.
