Only in the quarter-final match against Golubic a former World No. 1 lost one set (6:2, 5:7, 6:4). Nonetheless, she managed to win the match by a handicap of (-4) games.
Now Halep is approaching the match against Kudermetova. In the previous season Romanian player defeated Kudermetova twice: at Australian Open (6:1, 6:3) and at Kremlin Cup (6:1, 7:6).
