The defensive line of Edmonton failed to withhold the pressure of the Stars, and goalie Skinner only stopped 87% of the shots. The Oilers also had a tough game against Winnipeg, but in the end, they snatched a win in a penalty shootout (2:1 SO).
In the other two games, Edmonton crushed Arizona (5:3) and Chicago (5:2). Draisaitl and McDavid had an excellent game against the Coyotes and each scored four points.
