Anhelina Kalinina vs Ekaterina Alexandrova. Predictions and Betting Tips for WTA Kremlin Cup

In the middle of June Anhelina Kalinina put up a great performance at Budapest tournament, she reached the final of that clay competition. After that success and a transition to hard Ukrainian player won only two matches in five tournaments. There were pessimistic predictions about her performance at Moscow. In the first round Kalinina was drawn to a tough opponent, Daria Kasatkina. 

But Kalinina made a sensation in the first round. She recorded a victory over the Russian player in straight sets (6:2, 6:3). Of course Kasatkina was not playing so well in this match, but Kalinina put up a great performance, she played aggressively, was not afraid to take the risk and that strategy brought a success to her. 

Ekaterina Alexandrova was not performing well before the start of the Kremlin Cup. Since June Russian player was unable to advance past the second round in any tournament. Even on indoor tournaments, which are her favourite ones, at Luxembourg and Ostrava she was eliminated in the second round. 

In the first round of the Kremlin Cup Alexandrova played against in-form Ons Jabeur. But Tunisian player had to withdraw herself from the match during the second set due to health issues.
