Tampa Bay vs Nashville: prediction for the NHL preseason match

The Tampa Bay Lightning have won the Stanley Cup for two consecutive years. The Lightning cruised through the playoffs, having experienced some difficulties only in the semifinals series against the New York Islanders (4-3). In the final, the Lightning got a landslide victory over Montreal. 

In the offseason, Tampa retained the core of their team. This year they will once again compete for the leadership in their division. However, the Lightning started their preseason with a disappointing defeat from Carolina.

The Nashville Predators were not entirely convincing during the regular season but managed to finish 4th in the Central Division, thus advancing into the playoffs. The Predator's Stanley Cup campaign was very short: in the first knockout round, they lost to the Florida Panthers (2-4). 

The Predators have already played two preseason matches against Florida. Nashville had a good chance of winning, but allowed the opponents to level the score, and then lost in overtime. In the second game, the Panthers again got the upper hand.
