Montpellier vs Bordeaux: prediction for the Ligue 1 match

After an 8th-place finish in the previous season Montpellier started the new Ligue 1 campaign in a shaky form, they dropped way too many points already. Olivier Dall'Oglio's men suffered a defeat to Lille (1:2), then they recorded a victory over Saint-Etienne (2:0) and then held Troyes to draw on an away match (1:1). 

Now team is at 8th position with 8 points. We should note that fourth-placed Angers are only three points ahead. 

Oyongo, Sakho and Tamas are on team's injuried list. Thuler is suspended. 

Sixth-time champions of France finally recorded the first victory under the management of new head coach. The Marines and Whites completely failed the start of the new Ligue 1 season, just like the ending of a previous one. Before the sixth round Girondins were at the bottom of the table, getting only two draws against Marseille (2:2) and Angers (1:1). 

Visitors managed to beat Saint-Etienne (2:1) on Saturday. Now team is at 17th position in the standings with five points.

Maja, Baysse and Mensah won't be able to play against Montpellier. Sissokho is isolated due to coronavirus.
