PSG vs Lyon: prediction for the Ligue 1 match

In the previous season PSG failed to defend the Ligue 1 title, losing it to Lille. Team won the French Cup and put up a disappointing performance in the Champions League. During the summer team signed Lionel Messiand Sergio Ramos, they should increase team's motivation.  

After a defeat in the French Super Cup, where Parisians were beaten by the champion, Red-Blues recorded five victories in first five matches and claimed the top spot of Ligue 1 standings. In the most recent match hosts recorded a 4:0 victory over Clermont at home. In the first match of the Champions League PSG played a draw with Brugge (1:1).

Bernat, Verratti, Gharbi, Dagba, Kurzawa and Ramos won't be able to play in an upcoming match.

In the previous season Lyon put up a decent performance, but failed to put up a fight for the title of Ligue 1. In the new season team is managed by Peter Bosz, club also signed Xherdan Shaqiri from Liverpool, Damien Silva from Rennes and Emerson from Chelsea.

In first three rounds The Kids picked up only two points, but in two most recent matches team recorded victories over Nantes (1:0) and Strasbourg (3:1), now club is at seventh spot with eight points. In the first match of Europa League team recorded a victory over Rangers (2:0).

Dembele, Reine, Pintor, Mendes, Kadewere and Dubois, who has a calf injury, are on team's injuried list.
