Rostov vs Krasnodar: prediction for the Russian Premier League fixture

Rostov started the season very poorly. Under Valery Karpin, the Rostovites looked unconvincing, but not much changed with the arrival of the new manager Yuri Semin. Rostov got only 1 victory in 6 rounds: over Nizhny Novgorod away (2:1). However, in the last matches, Rostov seem to have some improvement.

In the last round, Rostov had a good chance to get another victory: they took the lead against Ural in the 76th minute of the game. However, the Bumblebees scored an equalizer and the game was tied (1:1). Currently, Rostov are in the zone of transitional matches on the 14th line in the table. They are just one point ahead of Arsenal in the direct relegation zone.

Krasnodar do not seem very impressive either. But Viktor Goncharenko's men have won three games in six rounds. After a difficult, but exciting victory over Arsenal in the fourth round (3:2), Krasnodar lost to Lokomotiv in Moscow (1:2).

In the last round, the Bulls played at home against Rubin. Thanks to goals by Alexei Ionov and Jhon Cordoba, Krasnodar scored a confident victory (2:0) and rose to the seventh line in the table. They are three points away from the European club competition zone.
