Leipzig vs Bayern. Predictions and Betting Tips for Bundesliga

Leipzig started the new season with a completely different squad - during the summer Julian Nagelsmann, under his management Bulls improved a lot in recent years. He was replaced by Jesse Marsch and his first task is to rebuild the centre of defence after the departure of Ibrahima Konate and Dayot Upamecano. 

Of course it affected the team's performance - in the first round Leipzig dropped points in the away match against Mainz (0:1). In the second round weakened Stuttgart's line-up failed to put up a fight against Leipzig and Bulls recorded a 4:0 victory at Red Bull Arena. But they failed to extend success - Leipzig took a 0:1 defeat from Wolfsburg on away game and dropped to the 10th position in the standings.

Bayern also changed the head coach during the off-season. Hans-Dieter Flick, who was a pretty successful manager, was replaced by Julian Nagelsmann. He got a solid reinforcement in the defensive line, but even without any transfers Bayern squad is the strongest in Bundesliga.

Start of the season was not so successful for Bayern and Nagelsmann - in the first round club from Munich barely avoided defeat on an away game against Borussia Monchengladbach (1:1). A home victory over Koln (3:2) in the second round was not impressive at all - Billy Goats were looking solid in this game and almost pulled off a comeback. 

Bayern already won the first trophy of the season - they managed to beat Borussia Dortmund (3:1) in the German Super Cup. Champions of Germany also recorded a victory in the third round of Bundesliga - Bayern trashed Hertha (5:0) and climbed up to the third position in the standings.
